	Diesel Engine Today’s diesel engines are becoming more complex with each new environmental and regulatory standard that’s introduced. As a result, increased electronic integrations are being realized. Additionally, the harsh environments that diesel engines are required to operate under are as demanding as any environment can be. 	Engine Control Units Intricate engine control units are constantly measuring variables within internal combustion engines. These ECUs have instant – real time – measurements of fuel mixture, idle speed, ignition timing, variable valve timing and electronic valve control. Traditionally, ECUs have included sophisticated and sometimes cumbersome wiring assemblies. 	Vehicle Power Amphenol Industrial Operations offers a wide product offering of connectors and electrical assemblies that incorporate the RADSOK® technology. These RADSOK® contact products continue to be developed to meet the ever evolving demands for high power in small packaging. Several interconnection products have been developed to provide high amperage connection to busbars, wires and circuit boards. The advantages of RADSOK® with high amperage and low insertion forces while maintaining large conductive surface area make this technology the ideal interconnect solution for so many high power needs.

	Vehicle Communication There are many connectors offered by Amphenol Industrial Operations that are designed for communication systems. These solutions are used in equipment with signal, power, RF or fiber optic interconnect requirements in harsh environments such as communication towers, outdoor and roof-top applications. Our harsh environment communications connectors and wiring assemblies offer the highest performance capabilities for severe environment applications, yet is cost effective enough for general duty and non-environmental applications.
