SurLok Plus™ EMI Version
Amphenol Industrial Operations, a global leader in interconnect systems, has enhanced its SurLok Plus high current connector and cabling system. The quick connect and locking system, includes a high voltage interlock loop (HVIL) safety feature, as well as electromagnetic interference shielding (EMI) for noise immunity. These features are a requirement of high end battery systems to ensure safety and proper operation.
Ideal for use in electric vehicles, materials handling, hybrid electric vehicles, and in energy storage for commercial and residential battery storage systems, SurLok Plus is a reliable alternative to common compression lugs.
These cost-effective connectors offer industry-standard crimp, screw, and busbar termination options, eliminating the need to purchase special torque tools and are easy to install. SurLok Plus is optimized for battery pack connectors from 50 A to 400 A (sizes 5.7mm to 10.3mm) using a touch-safe interface.
The compact SurLok Plus offers a flexible, quick lock and press-to-release design to accommodate dimensional constraints. This robust, low profile, RADSOK connector is quick mating and significantly increases amperage, while reducing insertion force, temperature rise and voltage drop.
This high current cabling system is IP67-rated and comes in an unsealed configuration and sealed version offering excellent environmental sealing to protect the system from the elements.
